"For this very reason, make every effort
to add to your faith goodness;
and to goodness, knowledge;
and to knowledge, self-control;
and to self-control, perseverance;
and to perseverance, godliness;
and to godliness, mutual affection;
and to mutual affection, love.
For if you possess these qualitites
in increasing measure,
they will keep you from
being ineffective and unproductive
in your knowledge of
our Lord Jesus Christ."

2 Peter 1:5-8

Thank you, Kimberly, for these words that remind us of our real priorities. God is still in control no matter what happens in our lives and He has given us direction for our lives. ~Adrienne~

Hello Kimberly, you asked a question on my blog (Consumption Rebellion) about the homemade laundry powder. I've amended my post but thought I'd also reply here just in case. The recipe is:

4 cups of soap flakes (lux)
2 cups of borax
2 cups of washing soda

Mix all ingredients together and store in a plastic container with a lid. 2 tablespoons per wash.

Your blog is beautiful.

All the best,
Eilleen
