Conference

I had a wonderful time at the conference this weekend. The sessions and speakers did a fantastic job. Rounding it all out and making it truly delightful were all the amazing Moms I met!

I have been to all sorts of conferences before for all sorts of reasons and I must say that the other attendees of this conference were some of the most wonderful ladies I have ever met. Their joy was evident in their faces. Yes, there were times of tears, but you could just see something different in them.

I didn't know a single other woman at the conference when I showed up, but I was immediately enveloped by so many ladies' kindness. It was a room of kindred spirits. My only regret upon leaving was that almost all of the ladies I met lived outside of Denver. I would have loved to been able to see them all again soon.

I'll be posting more throughout this week about specifics on the sessions and links to more information. It was wonderful and I hope that if the opportunity comes that you will attend a Whole Heart Conference in your area.

So Excited!

I was reading the other day about the upcoming Whole Heart Conference to see what time it started. Boy, am I glad I did! I had put the wrong date on my calendar. Yikes! I had it down for the last weekend in January and wondered why Sally said she'd be in Michigan on the 28th when I thought she's be here. I would have totally missed out.

Luckily, I did find out in time. I was concerned about the conference not ending until late on Friday and starting back up bright and early on Saturday. I've been so tired lately that I was not looking forward to the long drive there and back. But Sweetheart and I talked about it today and he agreed that I should stay at the hotel. I went online and found a room for a whole lot cheaper just about two miles from the conference so I will stay at that hotel.

I am so glad. I think it will be so nice to be close and have a little extra alone time as well. I am excited to go. Having the time and space to myself will be so nice and beats having to drive for an hour each way exhausted. It will also give me some time to process the meetings.

Mom Heart Conference!!!

This is just a reminder about the Mom Heart Conference I wrote about a few weeks ago. I signed up then to attend Sally Clarkson's Mom Heart Conference here in Denver in January. Here is the link to register yourself for it as well. Today is the last day to register at the reduced rate.
