The Last Mile (part IV)

 
 
 
 
 
Mile 6 (+)
It's somewhere between 6-7 miles on this walk.
Not pictured: 
A lot of junk, all the ugly things, houses and trailers that *might* be condemned if it was anywhere else, houses with 5+ vehicles in the yard, etc. 
What can I say?
 I like pretty things.
We live in a poor, rural area. 
I can either chose to focus on the ugly, or the beautiful.
You see what I am trying to choose.
I am not trying to make it all look perfect when it is not. 
I am simply choosing the best of what I see.
It's like the view from my porch. 
I can either focus on the two dozen + porta potties in the yard across the street or focus on what's right above it.

Kim...that's is exactly how I shoot....above the heads of crowds....over trash barrels.
To be honest...that's really how I see things...it doesn't seem deceitful....it's really MY vision!!

It's gorgeous!

I share the little gravel lane with two other houses. The one on our right (looking toward the county road) is beautifully well kept. The one on our left... is not.

Just the other day I was looking at the stack of firewood that had been dumped on their lawn as well as a few tools on the lawn and decided I would call it all rustic. :)

You just described my favorite type of buildings....and they are all over Europe.....lol
