Last Day Here

Well, here we are the day before the closing on our home. We have some moving guys arrive soon to haul out the rest of the stuff. (Thank you, Lord!) We will be staying at my Mom's tomorrow night and then see from there.
We have not heard anything on the little farm and have no direction towards anything else at this time.
All prayers are welcome. Don't know when I will be back to update, but I am not gone for good. Will update as able. Much love to you all!

Oh Kimberly ~ such a bittersweet day for you all! Praying the Lord opens doors soon and overwhelms you with peace in the meantime.

I'm praying for you!

The next few weeks will show you God's work in miraculous ways.

Sometimes the answer to your prayers is not there when you immediately request them.

As I told Steph, you will look back on this time and be amazed at God's work and how you got through it all (although yours is more complicated than her move).

We've been in the same place but with no job and no money. God has a plan for YOU.

Best wishes, I hope you are able to get settled into a new home soon.

this seems so foolish-did you pray and hear God telling you to sell but with no place to move to? i don't recall you saying you have actually prayed about this decision but rather decided it was the best thing becuz of debt, etc.
i would never do this, and we are in the process of looking for another home ourselves. but to sell with nowhere to go? not me. i can't believe God was in this decision. i hope you don't regret it. foolish is the word the comes to my mind. or maybe just plain stupid!!!!!

Kimberly-
I have no idea if you know the anonymous commentor, but I wanted to encourage you, because that note was so *dis*couraging. The Lords hand has so obviously been all over the sale of your house, that its hard to believe it could be anything but His will. Sometimes we are called to step out in faith, even when that first step is the only one we see. God will make His will known, so fret not and take heart my dear friend. HE knows the plans He has for you, plans to prosper and not harm you, though it can be a very stretching experience.

You can publish this or not, but I couldn't sit by and see you rather heartlessly scolded.
Hugs-
Bonnie

P.S. when I saw the blog was closed for a few days, I nearly cried! not sure if that was a snafu or what, but I'm so glad its back!

Continue to trust the Lord, dear Kimberly. What a wonderful opportunity to see His hand at work. He will take care of the details and His timing is always perfect. I can't wait to hear how He leads. I'll be lifting you up in prayer. Update when you can~lisa

Kimberly,

I'm so glad you're back! don't pay any attention to that anonymous comment - she has no idea what your circumstances are, and has no right to make such comments.

Hope things are going well for you - will comment again when I get my own blog up, but just had to support you -

Sweetie ~ I was just thinking about you. I'm not sure if you have email access or not right now, but I thought I'd send along a comment in hopes you do pop online. Then I got here and saw the ugly note above.

I agree very much with Bonnie's excellent comment. God's ways are not our ways; His ways are higher. He calls believers to walk by faith not by sight! And it's not always easy. He does challenge His own ... think of Abraham called to sacrifice Isaac. What a terrifyingly difficult thing Abraham had to do. And yet with no obvious sacrifice in sight, God provided in His own time. He is Jehovahjireh. In fact, come to think of it, that occurred years after God called Abraham to move into an unknown land with no knowledge of where he was going to set up tent.

1 Corinthians 1-2 speaks a great deal about wisdom. God has made foolish the wisdom of the world. I hope Anonymous-Joly will reconsider her words in light of Scripture.

Blessings to you and yours, dear Kimberly. I know God is working on your behalf. Your family is in our prayers.

Kimberly,

Just popping in tonight to see if there is any news from your corner of the world. As I go to sleep, I'll pray for peace and safety for you and yours, in all aspects: physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. May you feel God's sweet hand covering you tonight.

Dearest Kimberly,

Just dropping bye to see if you had posted anything new about your little farm.

Hope you are having a lovely summer and that you will be tucked in and cozy wherever you are.
