Hi!

Here I am reading Anne of Avonlea on my porch. The hot cocoa didn't last very long, but it sure was delicious! Thanks Sweetheart for taking the picture and teaching me how to download them (again).

I love the Anne of Green Gables stories! Loved watching the movies as well, the ones that had Megan Fellows as Anne. Some days I wish life was like how it was in the stories. And the style of clothing back then that everyone wore. Sorry, I'm just rambling, but I do enjoy the Anne stories. How old are your books that are shown in the photos?

The editions I have are from 1928. The original printing of Anne of Green Gables was in 1908.
I, too, would love to dress as a Gibson Girl everyday! The Edwardian Era is one of my favorite periods of clothing. Thanks for stopping by!

Love your hair too aren't you just so ready to leave for Avonlea :)

Have you ever been to Prince Edward Island? It is so beautiful - I went to the "Green Gables" they have there - oh, so amazing!

Many blessings,

I just came over from seeing your post at my blog.

I had to smile, I'd just checked one of the Anne of Green Gables DVDs out from the library this afternoon, to enjoy later this week!

Then as I read, you mention Earl Grey...

I love meeting likeminded ladies on these blogs.
