The View from the Kitchen

I was busy in the kitchen the other morning and happened to glance out the south window.  These young warrior*princes*farmer boys*hobbits were off to wage an epic battle against the Bad Guys. Crowns on their heads, swords and trash can lid shields in hand, they are ready for anything.
I love these boys.
They won.
And then came in for a cup of tea.

What wonderful memories the kids are making!

I would have given anything to to have some land to wander when I was a kid. Maryvale wasn't the outdoor mecca. I remember that about half a mile away there were lots that were zoned for livestock. So I'd go over there and walk down the alleys to pet the horses. I also remember going up and down our alley in search of treasures. (OMG...how disgusting....lol)
