It's amazing to me that our little girl is two today. She is such a funny little thing. She loves her "pitty hair" and "pitty shoes", but also loves dog piling her brothers, playing Legos with them, and sword fighting. She's quite an active one as well, rarely satisfied in one spot for two seconds together. She is a blur of constant motion, but she was even before she was born.
She loves to snuggle, except when she doesn't. Loves to eat, except when everything is "Yuck!" She seems to think everything should go according to her wishes. It makes things rather interesting around here some days with much wailing and the going to of corners. I am told it's because she's a girl. There is a lot more drama than I am accustomed to for sure. Wow.
She is very loving and gives lots of hugs and kisses. She also loves to pray for everyone and everything. She sings and your heart melts. She's a little chatterbox, too. It apparently runs in the family. She is quite animated as well. Also a family trait, I know.
Sometimes, it is hard to get a word in edgewise around here and so she gets right up in your face and jabbers on, hands on hips, or gesturing with great emotion.
Everything with her is done with great emotion.
When she gets going like that, I can't understand what she's talking about, but it is pretty funny to watch. She's so serious though, so one cannot laugh at her.
I would say she is a girl who feels deeply. Happy, or sad, there is no holding back. Yes, roll your eyes those of you who know me in real life and wonder aloud where she might get.that.from. You're right, it must be her father.
I love my little girl. She is a joy and a delight. How I wish you could all come over. She'd pour you a cup of tea from her tea set and bring you some wooden food. And then she'd attack you with one of the boys' swords. That's my girl.

Happy belated birthday wishes to cupcake. Unbelievable that she is 2 already! Enjoy the time as much as you can. My girl is turning 21 next month, suddenly they are adults... and sometimes I miss the times with playing, chatting, mock tea parties...
Warmest wishes, Nessie
Oh my, I shouldn't be surprised since we just had a 2nd birthday around here too, but boy did those last 2 years fly- weren't we just pregnant?
Such a sweet little face, I love the one where she is kissing her doll. And the one of Dumpling helping her open her gifts, and...
Happy Birthdays to both Cupcake and Dumpling!
Ahhh...she is a doll Kimberly! I love your description of her! Having raised one son (the oldest) and two daughters it's been our experience that our two daughters (at least in our house) were farrr less dramatic than our one son! I think it's simply a matter of personality. :))) Regardless, they are all individual and special and a joy. You are so smart to appreciate every bit of her personality.
Love,
Tracey
