This is why I want to raise chickens. Not the eggs and definitely not to eat them, although I grew up with Mom stewing the old hens (delicious).
But they are so darn cute.
Where we live we would have to build a more expensive hen house and Hubby says it is not worth it. It is not just living by the forest, the forest animals find us. A red fox mommy used my neighbor's garden shed for a nursery this spring!
