P.S. I saw a photo of someone's ring recently that had the word "hope" engraved on it... I was a little envious... ;) but the description of your ring pushed me into "inspired." I'll have to keep an eye out. HOPE is simply my watchword these days! That word alone has me connected to you already. :)
