Personally, I think the below is better, more crisp. Have you tried black- or sepia- and white? The picture is so cute though, it would be impossible to "mess up", no matter what you do to it!
Kim, Photoshop is miraculous! Your image in Photoshop brought out so many more details...down to the rivets on the jean pockets...plus the barn has come into focus. Sepia is a fun way to go too. (remind me I'll send you my way of sepia toning!) Looks great!! Have fun!
I think I like the bottom picture better. The coloring is a little too "pink" everywhere in the top picture (skin & dirt especially). Plus, the white hat looks a little "hot" - do you know what I mean. I get the richer colors, but it doesn't look real. But... you're a gazillion photoshop steps ahead of me, sister! So maybe don't listen to any of that... ;)
