Interior Pictures

The last post shows a variety of pictures from outside. These pictures are some of my favorite features of the inside of the home. Due to less than stellar lighting and some bad color schemes in the home, I opted to render it all in sepia. It not only makes it more timeless, it hides how badly everything needs to be painted.

Trying not be jealous..... but not suceeding! WHY can't the same attention to detail be put into homes nowadays? Its beautiful, your dining room especially. And the clawfoot tub, and cool hardware, and.....

Just so you know, I use envious and jealous the friendliest of manner. I am truly glad for you, and I know you appreciate the little details beauties of old houses.
It is SUCH a beautiful house, and I'm glad someone I "know" lives in and will love and care for it.
I hate seeing old houses falling to ruin.
Such memories you all will make there!

Hi Kimberly, I just found your wonderful blog. Your barn is amazing and the farmhouse too. I am in love! Barns just amaze me. I wanted to invite you to join up with us at Verde Farm for Farm Friend Friday. I know many of the farm life bloggers would really enjoy your blog and I would love for you to share it. Can’t wait to read more.
Happy weekend,

Quite lovely - it looks like it has some Craftsman elements. Our house is old and has a lot of chips here and there - lots of work, but definitely worth it.
God Bless,
Kathy

Dearest Kimberly,

I have been reading through your latest posts and WOW, what a journey!

I love all the charming details of your new home and I know that it will look so darling when you have a chance to paint and decorate.

Don't be discouraged...I had no running water for six months and my kitchen was in the living room for almost a year when we first moved to my beloved Honey Hill.

It was...um...a challenge (for lack of a better word) and I did have a few moments when I would cry and think "what are we doing"?

But just think of where you will be this time next year! I can't wait to hear all about your life as you travel this road.

Yours kindredly,
Shan
